Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 19, 2026
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains what information Apex AI (the “Service”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
2. Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email address, and a securely hashed password.
- Content you create — the prompts you submit and the content the Service generates and stores for you.
- AI provider keys — any third-party API keys you choose to add, stored so we can make requests on your behalf.
- Usage data — basic information such as the number of generations you make, used to enforce plan limits and show your analytics.
- Billing information — if you subscribe to a paid plan, payment details are handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to provide and operate the Service, authenticate your account, generate content you request, enforce plan limits, process payments, and communicate with you about your account. We do not sell your personal information.
4. AI provider keys and prompts
When you generate content, the prompt you submit is sent to the third-party AI provider you have selected, using the API key you supplied. That provider processes your prompt under its own privacy policy and terms. We encourage you to review the privacy practices of any provider you connect. We store your keys only to make requests on your behalf and never display them in full after they are saved.
5. Data storage and security
Your data is stored in a database hosted by our infrastructure provider. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Cookies
We use a single essential authentication cookie to keep you signed in. This cookie is required for the Service to function and is not used for advertising or third-party tracking.
7. Third-party services
We rely on third-party services to operate, including AI model providers (for content generation), a payment processor (for subscriptions), and a hosting provider (for infrastructure). Each processes data under its own privacy policy.
8. Your rights
You may access and update your account information at any time, and you may request deletion of your account and associated data. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, including rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data.
9. Data retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we remove your associated data, except where retention is required for legal or legitimate business purposes.
10. Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
12. Contact
